Balance

Balance must be to make things true

as light and darkness balance hue

everything needs light and darkness

to keep them true and keep them harnessed.

But when the balance is disturbed

neither light or darkness get final word.

When balance is not, life is absurd

when balance is, life is preserved.

A Nothing can come in desperation

when the soul screams for true direction

and when the answers come most clearly

balance is also present sincerely.

There is no challenge to understand

a life of balance should be the plan

and if your life is slightly absurd

the rest of living brings answers heard.

But all one hears can't be believed

some thoughts given can make you need

and if you let distortion rule

you'll turn around and be a fool.

Just let this life direct you forward

and let your living find you the tools

and as your life slowly progresses

the tools you have insure clear clues.

For all that live, and maybe others,

keep the balance to live as brothers.

We have all seen balance shifting

when fighting war or simply hitting

and when our world is resting true

the thought of strife does not amuse.

So walk among us with balance holding

your life in it's arms always glowing

and you may find your life is truly

a joy to live as it keeps flowing.
